We set up this community and website in order to help other videographers and filmmakers achieve their dreams.  If we all grow together we can help each other out.  We don’t have to rely on studios and Hollywood.  We can rely on each other and ourselves.  Though if Hollywood wants to join in, we are not excluding them.

The goal and mission of this community and website is for all of us to get to the next level.  That is different for all of us and that is ok.  Some of us are farther along on the journey.  We can all help pull each other up and forward.  We can all help push each other as well.

We want this community to be supportive and helpful.  We want to be open-minded and understanding.  No one is perfect.  No one knows everything.  We are all trying our best.  We are all learning.  We are all gaining more experience.

Some ground rules.  

1. Be cool to everyone.  You don’t have to like everyone and everything but you do have to be respectful to everyone.
2. Be understanding.  Everyone is learning.  Some people learn certain things faster than others.  Some people have been studying longer than others.  Some people have more resources than others.  It’s ALL good.  No worries.  Remember we all have to start somewhere.
3. Givers gain.  We have found that the more you give, the more you receive.  Now, it might not be a direct exchange but it somehow finds a way to reward you sometime down the line.  Plus, it is very rewarding to help others.
4. This community is not for everyone.  If you don’t like these rules, that’s cool.  You can go somewhere else to play and hang out.  But if you want to join this movement, then please play by these simple rules.  If you don’t play by the rules we’ll warn you and if you don’t change, we’ll ask you to leave.  No hard feelings but if it’s not a good match, it’s best if  we both find a better place.
